Lee Certified Coins offers independently graded, authenticated, and certified rare coins. The two most conservative, consistent, and respected grading services are the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation of America (NGC) and the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). The two services represent a standardized system for grading rare coins accurately and with high levels of consistency. Both services use the well-known and accepted Sheldon numerical grading scale. Both services require that EACH coin is viewed by a grading team of 3-4 members. A finalizer, with the use of a computer, assembles the grades and verifies the final grade. The coin is then assigned a consensus grade and carefully placed into a durable, hard plastic, sonically sealed, tamper-proof holder. Each grading service guarantees the grade and authenticity of the coin. In addition, you are assured that your coins are checked again by LC before sending them to you. You can view us as the final ultimate quality control experts. With more than 800 authorized dealers in NGC and PCGS combined, you are assured that your coins have the highest level of liquidity in numismatic history, because your coins can trade on a sight seen or sight unseen basis.
